Jeffrey
Bernstein,
M.D.
Dr. Jeffrey Bernstein graduated from the State University
of New York at Binghamton. He received his medical degree with special
distinction for research in cardiovascular medicine from Albert Einstein
College of Medicine in 1995. Dr. Bernstein then did his internal medicine
residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and his cardiology fellowship
at North Shore – Long Island Jewish Hospital. He was named Chief
Fellow in Cardiology and completed his fellowship in 2001. After practicing
non-invasive cardiology and internal medicine locally for nearly nine
years, Dr. Bernstein has joined North Shore Cardiac Imaging, where he
continues to provide the highest level of care to his patients. He is
a member of the American Medical Association and a Fellow of the American
College of Cardiology. Dr. Bernstein is board-certified in internal medicine,
cardiovascular diseases, and nuclear cardiology. He has particular interest
in the management of hypertension and coronary artery disease, and cardiovascular
disease prevention.
