Edward Rutkovsky, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.A.C.P.
After graduating Summa Cum Laude and achieving a membership to Phi Beta Kappa from the State University of New York at Albany, Dr. Rutkovsky went on to earn his medical degree at New York University School of Medicine. He performed his rigorous internship and residency in medicine at the prestigious New York University Medical Center. Dr. Rutkovsky’s fellowship in cardiovascular disease was completed at North Shore University Hospital in affiliation with Cornell University Medical College.
Dr. Rutkovsky is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. He is also board certified by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. The Castle Connelly Guide esteemed him one of the foremost cardiologists in the New York state area by the vote of his patients and peers. He has also been recognized by Newsday and the New York Times as a top doctor in the specialty of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Diseases. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology as well as the American College of Physicians. He is also a member of both the Medical Society of the State of New York and Nassau County Medical Society.
