Mitchell A. Cohn, MD, joins North Shore Cardiac Imaging Family Medical Health after 30 years of clinical care experience, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. He is a board-certified internist that has worked in primary care, bariatric, and non-narcotic pain management medicine for three decades, after having worked as a hospitalist, treating patients with a wide range of conditions. His expertise extends to having taught medical students and residents in bedside manner and medical ethics. Since 2002, he has focused on treating patients in an outpatient setting.
He has a medical degree from Far Eastern University in the Philippines, and finished his internship at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn. Then he completed his residency at New York Flushing Medical Center, where he was chief resident in his final year. He was a clinical instructor at City University of New York Medical School and at New York Flushing Medical Center. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine.
