Dr. Silvio Tasso earned his medical degree from the University of Noreste, School of Medicine in Tampico, Mexico, and completed his internal medicine residency at Booth Memorial Medical Center now named New York Presbyterian-Queens. Dr. Tasso was also an affiliate at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He went on to serve as assistant director of the Department of Emergency at New York Presbyterian-Queens as well as served as a medical officer for The New York City Department of Corrections.
Dr. Tasso is a board-certified internal medicine specialist. He also is certified in Basic & Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor, Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support Instructor, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support & Neonatal Resuscitation. Dr. Tasso is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians and a member of The Society of Academic Emergency Medicine.
